PokeSeek is an AI-based Pokémon battling competition where teams of two develop AI bots (heuristics or RL) to battle each other. Participants choose a starter Pokémon and strategically command their team. While participants can use search algorithms and neural networks, the battle simulator is a greybox — they only have direct information about their own Pokémon and moves, not the exact outcome of a turn. The competition involved an online preliminary quiz, followed by offline Round Robin and Knockout stages at IIT Delhi on March 10. The event witnessed 188 registrations and 100% shortlist attendance.
